The Solix Bi-Color 1-Light Compact Kit from Westcott presents a portable and adaptable lighting solution, offering various options for color, light intensity, and power. This kit is particularly well-suited for photographers and videographers working in both studio settings and on location. The Solix is designed with a single dial for effortless adjustments and boasts a high color accuracy rating throughout its bi-color range. With a robust 90W output, the Solix Bi-Color delivers dimmable illumination of up to 3100 lux at a distance of 3.3 feet, achieving color accuracy ratings of 97 CRI and 98 TLCI. It features a broad beam angle of 120 degrees, which can be shaped by adjusting the included 4-way barndoors. The flicker-free functionality guarantees sharpness in video recordings at frame rates of up to 960 frames per second. Additional features include a built-in speedring compatible with rod-based softboxes weighing up to 4.5 pounds, as well as a tilter bracket equipped with an umbrella channel and a 5/8″ receiver for standard light stands. The Solix Bi-Color is designed for global use, complete with a 100 to 240 VAC adapter, and can also operate on D-Tap batteries with an optional cable when AC power is not available. The compact Solix Bi-Color LED is both lightweight and compatible with wired AC power, as well as optional D-Tap batteries, which can be connected using a separately available D-Tap cable. A PowerStrap is designed to securely attach the power source directly to a stand or boom. Additionally, a padded travel case is included to store and safeguard the kit during transportation.
